You went to school with XYZ, or grew up in the same village, or otherwise met and became fast friends. You've helped each other out over the years, and value his/her good opinion of you highly.

(Note that XYZ may be an NPC, but could equally be another PC).

Invoke To…

• Help XYZ.
• Perform some activity that he/she may have taught you.
• Live up to his/her expectations.

Compel To…

• Require your urgent assistance if XYZ is in danger.
• Constrain you to do the right thing by him/her.
• Live up to his/her expectations.
