Boosts are a "super transient"type of aspect. They are identical to a scene aspect in every way, except one: they go away after being invoked once. You get a boost when you’re trying to create an advantage but don’t succeed well enough, or as an added benefit to succeeding especially well at an action.

Normally, only the person who created the boost gets to take advantage of it, but you can pass your boost to someone else to help them out with a roll if you want.

When Boosts come into play:

There are several ways to have a boost placed onto a scene. For example if you succeed with style on an overcome action, tie on a Create an Advantage or attack action. When someone succeeds at a cost, the opponent can get a boost
